Soleil d'hiver Festival, a wealth of diversity
The city of Montreal is renowned for its many festivals and cultural events. However they can be categorized as 'seasonal events' and most of them take place during the summer months.
The Soleil d'hiver Festival celebrates creativity and the richness of diversity. This bold event combines heat and low temperatures in an intense way. Soleil d'hiver plays on contrasts and offers a unique approach through a series of activities that bring warmth and cold, Southern and Northern cultures together.

All the activities that southern destinations have to offer can be found there: dance, music, carnival rhythms, fashion shows, good food, tropical cocktails, and many other sunny activities. A great way to re-discover the beauty and wealth of diversity.

It was in 2012 that the Soleil d'hiver Festival was launched. Canada and particularly Quebec is recognized worldwide for its cold, snowy, but above all endless winters. The Winter Sun Festival takes advantage of this backdrop to offer activities overflowing with warmth.

After a few years of hiatus, Soleil d'hiver Festival is back in force in 2023 with an energizing edition!
